The Indian Express gets a thumbs up for its new layout design

By Staff Writer in Media News on
The Indian Express unveiled its redesigned layout on November 5, drawing widespread praise from readers across social media for its modern presentation and improved readability. Chief Editor Raj Kamal Jha, in a social media post, shared insights into the redesign process and what guided the team’s approach. “In a way, the readers have redesigned The Indian Express,” he said, recalling how the idea took shape a year ago during weekly reviews analysing reader behaviour and engagement. The findings, Jha explained, showed that readers were most drawn to long-form field reports, investigative stories, and explanatory journalism — the very strengths that define The Indian Express. “The guiding principle behind the redesign was simple – to give readers more of what they value, presented in a way that’s easier and more engaging to read,” he said.
