Journalist beaten while covering rave party raid in Gurugram

A male journalist was allegedly beaten up by a group of men while he was on duty covering a rave party raid conducted by Gurugram Police on November 22, Saturday morning.
Among the assaulters was Sukhwinder Sangvan, the prime accused in the Sonali Phogat murder case.
In his FIR, the journalist stated that he and his cameraperson had accompanied the Gurugram Police during the raid on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. According to him, the police had received information that a rave party was being organised at a local café.
While the journalist was attempting to film the police action, Sukhwinder Sangvan allegedly attacked him. The journalist was beaten, and the police complaint was later converted into an FIR at Sector 50 police station in Gurugram, Times Now reported....
