A male journalist was allegedly beaten up by a group of men while he was on duty covering a rave party raid conducted by Gurugram Police on November 22,  Saturday morning. Among the assaulters was Sukhwinder Sangvan, the prime accused in the Sonali Phogat murder case. In his FIR, the journalist stated that he and his cameraperson had accompanied the Gurugram Police during the raid on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. According to him, the police had received information that a rave party was being organised at a local café. While the journalist was attempting to film the police action, Sukhwinder Sangvan allegedly attacked him. The journalist was beaten, and the police complaint was later converted into an FIR at Sector 50 police station in Gurugram, Times Now reported.

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Mumbai has approved a major restructuring plan by , the parent company of the Times of India group. The plan involves separating the company’s core newspaper business from its other ventures. As part of the restructuring, a new wholly owned subsidiary, Times Horizon, has been created to house all non-publishing businesses. The two-member NCLT bench reviewed and cleared the scheme of arrangement, noting that it complies with the provisions of the Companies Act. According to BMI, The Times Group said the restructuring aims to give sharper management focus to both segments, allowing the traditional publishing business and the rapidly expanding non-publishing portfolio to operate with strategies suited to their specific needs.

Reviews.org’s Fergus Halliday has shifted his Multiplier newsletter from Substack to Ghost, saying the project had outgrown Substack’s limitations. “Things are now at a point with the project where it makes more sense to make the shift over there to a more customizable platform,” Halliday told Influencing.  Halliday said the switch, completed recently, gives the publication a cleaner URL, a visual refresh and a new blog section, SoloQ, which will feature further reporting and criticism from the journalist, including his past investigative feature on Hellgate London. Following a raid by the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the seven-decade-old newspaper Kashmir Times, Editor Anuradha Bhasin said it was “another attempt to silence us.” Bhasin took to X and wrote, “We are being targeted precisely because we continue to do this work.” Officials raided the newspaper’s office on Jammu’s Residency Road and conducted searches till late afternoon. According to the SIA, arms and ammunition were recovered from the office, including one revolver, 14 empty cases of an AK-series weapon, three live AK rounds, four fired bullets, three grenade safety levers and three suspected pistol rounds. The Hindu reported that all recovered items were seized on the spot following due legal procedures.
