Senior journalist Rajendra Singh Chauhan dies in Jaisalmer bus fire

The incident occurred when a passenger bus en route from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur caught fire shortly after crossing the Air Force checkpoint, The News Mill reported.
Chauhan, a long-serving member of the Maru Lehar newspaper, was among 20 passengers who perished in the blaze. He had been travelling to Pokhran with Manoj Bhatia, president of the Jaisalmer Chemist Association, to attend the inauguration of a medical store. While Bhatia sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in Jodhpur, Chauhan succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
