Pounded with police complaints by AAP MLAs, Punjab journo moves HC

A journalist from Bathinda, Rattandeep Singh Dhaliwal, has approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court after several police complaints were filed against him by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs.
Rattandeep has so far received police summons in connection with 16 complaints filed by the MLAs and is expecting more in the coming days.
“I am certain that at least 22 AAP MLAs have filed police complaints against me but have no clue on what allegations have been made by them,” he told Influencing.
During a recent podcast, Dhaliwal had claimed that approximately 32 sitting MLAs may not receive party tickets for Punjab's upcoming Assembly elections. According to him, the information shared in the podcast could have prompted several legislators to file complaints with the police, resu...
