As journalist-safety demands grow nationwide, Bihar Police issues protection directive

The Bihar Police headquarters has issued directions to police officials across all districts to ensure the safety and convenience of journalists and media personnel.
The instructions were issued through a letter dated August 19 by the Security Division of the police headquarters. Police officials have been asked to extend proper cooperation to journalists during news gathering and photography and to ensure they are treated respectfully.
