Media Watch flags misleading imagery on Australian broadcasters

With fill-in show host Raf Epstein highlighted how the errors happen in digital news when “accuracy is sacrificed for speed.”

In the segment titled "Out of Focus", fill-in host Raf Epstein noted how such errors can occur in digital news when “accuracy is sacrificed for speed". The errors in question include the ABC using an incorrect image of hip-hop mogul Suge Knight when reporting on Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the man found guilty of murdering rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996. The image appeared in the ABC’s 5 pm and 6 pm bulletins, the national 7 pm news and local bulletins in Canberra...
