Williams welcomed as Lifehacker deputy editor

Speaking to Influencing, Williams said that after three years working at Allure, she can’t wait to take the next step in her career.
“I’ve always loved being able to write across the huge range of topics Lifehacker covers, and the Deputy Editor role is a greater chance to flex my writing muscles and bring my own individual style to one of Australia’s most unique online publications,” said Williams.
Williams first joined Allure Media as an editorial assistant back in 2015, and replaces former deputy editor Jackson Ryan who defected to CNET back in June, following in Mark Serrels’ footsteps.

Extending heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased journalist who passed away after suffering cardiac arrest recently, the Guild has raised concerns about the health and mental well-being of journalists.
