To get an unbiased perspective on international affairs, one had to rely on BBC, CNN or other global platforms, which often projected what critics described as a biased narrative about India and its stand on global issues.
With India’s rising economic might and growing population, the need to get across India’s point-of-view has been growing and the recent surge in popularity of Al Jazeera after the US-Israel-Iran war broke out is a good indicator of a surge in news consumers looking for an unbiased take on global developments vis-a-vis a western view of the world....
