Former Editor-In-Chief of SmartCompany Simon Crerar says that life is too short not to maximise impact. He departed the publication last Friday, wishing to spend more time with his family. Speaking with Influencing, Crerar said, “The link for me is that life is too short not to maximise for impact… The reality of the job was I spent a lot of time in Sydney or Melbourne over the last couple of years, and ultimately I wanted to spend more time in Tasmania with my family rather than on planes.” A Tasmanian resident, Crerar, says the decision was made while trekking in the Three Capes in the Tassie wilderness for his 50th birthday.  “The decision was mostly made while kind of trekking the Three Capes Track back in August, which is my 50th birthday treat from my wife, so I had a lot of time to think and be out in the Tasmanian wilderness.” “It's incredibly beautiful, and there are a lot of wild headlands. Kylie King, Albury councillor and co-host of 2AY Breakfast with Matt Griffith, will leave her radio role at the end of 2024, Radio Info reported. Her contract with Ace Radio Network will not be renewed for 2025. King has hosted the breakfast show for nearly six years including a previous stint with Kev Poulton before both ran for local council. While still hosting, King became Mayor of Albury with Poulton becoming Mayor of Wodonga. Later, he left the station. King's final day on the show will be December 20. She will continue her involvement with Ace Radio Network in a different capacity.

For the first time, India will host the 20th Asian Women’s Handball Championship (AWHC) from December 3 to 10, 2024, at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
