In today’s episode, Rowe said that she’ll leave at the end of the month to focus more on her family. She claimed that her resignation was brought about after serious discussions with her husband, Nine’s Peter Overton, and CEO Paul Anderson was also informed of her decision this week. Co-panelists Joe Hildebrand, Denise Drysdale, and Natarsha Belling were visibly distraught at the announcement.

Former show EP Rob McKnight, however, claimed over Twitter that network management had been trying to let her go for the past year. Rowe’s agent, David Wilson, tweeted back, saying she declined a “generous new contract” to return home. A Ten spokesperson dismissed McKnight’s comments and stated she can come back in the future.
