RJD chief’s daughter Rohini Acharya questions journalist over sexist remark

Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, released a video on Tuesday in which she confronted Bihar-based journalist Kanhaiya Bhelari for remarks she said were sexist and targeted her for donating a kidney to her father.
In the video, she calls Bhelari and asks him to explain why he questioned a married daughter’s right to visit her parents or make personal sacrifices for them. Her voice is low and strained, but she firmly asks him to repeat what he said on television.
When Bhelari replies that daughters should stay at their husband’s home and not spend long periods with their parents, she interrupts and asks him to clarify his statement.
