Reporter TV finds new direction under Anuranjan Jha

Reporter TV may continue operations through a new regulatory route as its legal status faces scrutiny in the Kerala High Court. The Malayalam news channel is likely to be rebranded as Live 24x7 Reporter after securing a fresh licence from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting under new ownership.
SJM Investments (Delhi) Private Limited, led by veteran journalist Anuranjan Jha and Pradeep Kumar Jha, took control of the company on October 6, 2023. Despite the ownership shift, Reporter TV’s website still lists Reporter Broadcasting Company as the owner, with Roji Augustine as Chairman, Josekutty Augustine as Vice Chairman, and Anto Augustine as Managing Director and Managing Editor.
