At a fiery election rally in Bikaner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a scathing attack on Pakistan, declaring that no power on earth could stop India from punishing those responsible for terrorism. The sharpest line of the speech: “They thought they were attacking India, but that very sindoor became our gunpowder.”

As reported by The Times of India’s Dipak K Dash and Shoeb Khan, Modi’s words were as much a military message as a political one. “India has forced Pakistan to surrender… they never imagined India would respond this way,” he said, referring to the government’s pre-emptive strike, now dubbed Operation Sindoor.
