Manipur media delegation visits Kochi Water Metro

A media delegation from Manipur visited the Kochi Water Metro as part of an ongoing media exposure tour to Kerala organised by the Press Information Bureau Imphal. The visit on February 23, 2026, aimed to study the integrated and environmentally sustainable urban water transport system implemented by Kochi Metro Rail Limited.
The delegation was welcomed and briefed by Loknath Behera, Managing Director, KMRL, along with senior officials including Dr M P Ram Navas, Director (Projects), Sanjay Kumar, Director (Systems), Shaji Janardanan, Chief General Manager, Sajan John, Chief Operating Officer of Kochi Water Metro, and K K Jayakumar, Head of PR and Social Media. Shamila K Y, Media and Communication Officer, PIB Kochi, also accompanied the team.
