Liz Hayes back on TV after short retirement
By Tony Bosworth in Media News on Thursday, 17th April 2025 at 10:20amJust two months after announcing her retirement after 44 years at Nine, veteran journalist Liz Hayes is going to be back on our screens, but this time on Seven where she will be a guest correspondent for Spotlight, the broadcaster’s flagship current affairs program.
Executive Producer of Spotlight, Gemma Williams, said a journalist of Hayes' reputation and experience brings weight to the project.
“We’re privileged to welcome Liz Hayes to Spotlight as a guest correspondent. Widely respected for her decades of experience, storytelling expertise and journalistic integrity, we look forward to collaborating with Liz on this special project,” said Williams.
