For the second year running, iTnews has launched its trademark State of Security report at the AUSCERT CyberSecurity conference held on the Gold Coast.  The publication’s Editorial Director, Velvet-Belle Templeman, said the report,  “looks at all of the different subsections of security. That includes topics such as data security, cloud security, identity access management, and that’s explored through a number of chapters”.  “The purpose is for our iTnews editorial team to go out and interview CISOs and heads of security at some of Australia's biggest enterprises and find out what they are doing regarding that particular subsection.” Templeman added each report chapter has one case study from each “end user, senior security leader, and the desk research”.
