Hindi news channel Bharat Express has appointed two senior journalists to boost its election coverage.   Mihir Ranjan has joined as Managing Editor and will lead the channel’s editorial strategy and news operations. He brings years of experience in TV journalism.  According to Adgully’s report, Veeresh Pandey has been named Roving Editor and will focus on ground reports and special stories during the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.  CMD and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai said the appointments show the channel’s commitment to strong and impactful journalism. Reuters' official X accounts, including @Reuters and @ReutersWorld, were restored on Sunday after being temporarily withheld in India by the social media platform. The accounts were blocked on Saturday night following what X described as a "legal demand". Reuters reported receiving an email from X stating, “At this time, we are no longer withholding access in INDIA to your account.” According to The Indian Express, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Electronics and IT clarified that “there is no requirement from the Government of India to withhold Reuters handle”, and confirmed that the Ministry was working with X to resolve the matter. In an earlier communication dated 16 May, X informed Reuters’ social media team that a request to remove content had been received, stating, “It is our policy to notify account holders if we receive a legal request from an authorized entity (such as law enforcement or a government agency) to remove content from their account.” X cite
