Brett ‘Marls’ Marley returns to Hobart FM

Marley, with a 45-year history in the industry, previously worked at 7HO and SCA. His return to broadcasting comes over a year after his departure in July 2022, according to a report by Radio Today. 
In a statement, Marls expressed enthusiasm about his return, highlighting his passion for playing “Baby Boomer music to the audience” while also delivering some music trivia and local info along the way.
“It’s really something I’ve missed doing. I started off with this kind of format many many years ago and have always enjoyed it,” he said. “To be honest when I pulled the pin, it was meant to be for good. But if radio is in your blood … then it is.”
