Veteran technology journalists, Alex Kidman and Adam Turner have been through it all over the past couple of decades as freelancers, and while both admit times are challenging right now, it’s not something they haven’t seen before.  Influencing published Kidman and Turner’s reflection on the closure of their long-running podcast, ‘Vertical Hold: Behind The Tech News’ (read here) yesterday, and we took the opportunity to talk more broadly about their freelancing work and the state of the profession right now. “I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that there would be easily double the number of consumer tech journalists working 10 years ago than there are now.
