At just 21, Bianca Wylie has made her mark as a news reporter for 9 News, firstly in Darwin and now Adelaide and as she told Influencing, her days are never the same, working on rotating shifts that can start as early as 6am and can even run into the late-night news bulletin.
Since joining the Adelaide newsroom, Wylie has covered everything from quirky animal stories to serious crime reports.
In her second week in Adelaide she found herself reporting on an unusual incident - a sea lion that had been tragically run over, something locals said they'd never seen before.
It was a stark contrast to her previous role in Darwin, where she’d routinely covered stories about crocodiles.
