The popular summer concert celebrating the music of the Beatles returns to the Sydney Opera House in the new year!
All You Need Is Love - will take over the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House on the 1, 2 & 3 January, 2027 for 3 special shows.
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE celebrates the songs that captivated a generation and continue to inspire music fans across the world. A selection of The Beatles' great songs are brilliantly performed live by Jack Jones, Ciaran Gribbin, Wes Carr and Jackson Thomas and accompanied by the 40 piece Strawberry Fields Rock Orchestra and The Day Tripper Band.
Included in this stellar performance, will be live renditions of Beatles epics, including I am The Walrus, Eleanor Rigby, Yesterday, A Day in the Life, Across The Universe, Let It Be, Hey Jude and many more. To celebrate the distinctive contributions made by The Beatles collaborator, arranger, orchestrator and producer, George Martin, there is a super charged rock band playing alongside all virtuoso hand-picked Strawberry Fields Orchestra.
Since it premiered in 2015, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE has become Australia's pre-eminent Beatles show. This is a show that treats The Beatles songs - the greatest catalogue in music history - with the love and respect they deserve, with four fantastic singers backed by an incredible orchestra and rock band.
With more than 40 people on stage, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE is an ambitious show in a grand setting. Produced by Phil Bathols and Tim Woods - Australia's leading producers of Beatles shows (The White Album Concert, Let It Be, Beatles Back2Back, Rubber Soul Revolver), this is not a tribute band, this is a spectacular live event.
"The songs are definitely popular Beatles songs, but they've been chosen because they lend themselves to orchestration," explains co-producer Phil Bathols. "We commissioned all the orchestrations for these shows ourselves."
More than 50 years since the Fab Four appeared on the British scene their music continues to inspire generation after generation. Together for a mere 10 years, The Beatles led a musical revolution that radically transformed the sound and significance of rock and roll. Their rich, fresh sound and harmonic structure remains unequalled today.
