Perth Digital Signage Company Doubles Down on Digital, Delivers 56% Lift in Organic Leads

Announcement posted by Distl 03 May 2026

Amped Digital partners with Distl to rebuild its website and overhaul its search strategy, with results that reflect a business operating at a new level.

PERTH, WA - After five years of steady growth, Amped Digital found itself at a familiar crossroads. The business had evolved. Bigger clients, larger rollouts, and a national footprint stretching across Australia and New Zealand. The digital presence, however, had not kept pace.

The Perth-based digital signage company - whose client list includes Subway (4,795+ screens across ANZ), Krispy Kreme, Nando's, Grill'd, MECCA, Perth Airport, and Melbourne Airport - was running on a Gatsby-built website that had served its purpose well. But the pace of the business had outgrown what the platform could support. Every content update required developer involvement. Publishing small pieces of content required logging a developer ticket.

Amped engaged Perth's top digital marketing agency Distl to rebuild the site and ramp up its search presence.

A Platform Built to Move Fast

The rebuild centred on switching from Gatsby to WordPress, migrating all 80+ pages and restructuring the site architecture around how prospective clients actually search for digital signage solutions.

Dedicated pages for menu boards, kiosks, video walls, outdoor signage, and window displays replaced a flatter structure that had grouped too much under too few headings. Each new page was built to serve both visitors and search engines from day one, with website design, content development, and SEO running in parallel throughout the build.

"The Gatsby platform had done its job for the earlier phase of the business," said Amped Digital. "But we needed something that let our team move faster and reflect the depth of work we're doing."

By the time the new site launched, the foundations for ranking were already in place.

Content That Reflects the Work

With the platform sorted, Distl turned attention to content output. The brief was straightforward: get Amped's real expertise onto the website at the pace and depth the business deserved.

They required blogs on drive-thru menu board design, outdoor signage challenges specific to Australian weather conditions, hardware platform comparisons drawn from real installation experience, and franchise management for multi-location businesses. It also meant developing case studies for major projects including the Grill'd drive-thru launch, the MECCA Melbourne flagship store, and Lotte Duty Free installations at both Melbourne and Perth airports.

Every piece was grounded in Amped's actual work and client relationships.

Search Results That Followed

With a stronger platform and a more active content programme in place, the SEO work could build outward, establishing authority across Amped's core service categories before competing on broader commercial terms.

Location pages for Perth and Sydney gave Amped a local search presence in the markets where they operate. The homepage was realigned to national search intent. Internal linking connected blogs, solutions pages, and case studies into a structure where each new piece of content reinforced the last.

Ranking results followed.

Amped now holds page one positions for "Digital Signage Perth", "Digital Signage Australia", and "Digital Signage Sydney" across Google Search, Google Local, and Google Mobile. Commercial terms including "digital menu screens" and "digital window display screens" climbed 18 and 42 positions respectively.

Taking a closer look at the numbers

Comparing Q4 2025 to the prior year:

  • Organic leads up 56% - (this is the metric that matters most)
  • Brand searches up 45%, with new queries like "Amped Digital Perth" and "Amped Digital Australia" emerging where they didn't exist the year before
  • Homepage clicks up 39%, appearing for more relevant, higher-intent searches
  • Traffic to core product and solution pages up 150%
  • Perth market clicks up 14% on stable search volume, reflecting stronger local relevance

Brand search growth at that scale typically signals something beyond technical SEO. It reflects the compound effect of consistent visibility, structured PR placements in industry publications, and the credibility that builds when a business shows up where its prospects are looking.

"It's the kind of growth you see when the platform, the content, and the strategy are all pulling in the same direction," said Jakeb Munn.

Amped Digital continues with their growing success alongside Distl implementing SEO, Generative Search and AI SEO, content, and more cutting edge digital marketing strategies.
