Australian-born country artist Sarah Marschke is an emerging voice in modern country music whose songs capture the crossroads between love, ambition, and the courage to chase a dream. Her latest single "What Coulda Been" tells the deeply personal story of leaving love behind in Australia to pursue a life in music overseas.
Blending heartfelt storytelling with authentic country instrumentation, the track explores the emotional weight of choosing the unknown over comfort.
Before stepping into the music world, Sarah built a career as a professional model and Public figure as Miss World Australia 2019. From the outside it appeared to be a dream career, but internally she felt drawn toward something more meaningful — songwriting and performing.
When she decided to leave modelling to pursue country music, the reaction from many around her was far from supportive. Some warned her it would be "social suicide" to walk away from an established industry.
But Sarah trusted the instinct she couldn't ignore and packed up her life, moved overseas, and began performing in venues while writing songs that reflect real life decisions and emotional turning points.
Her new single "What Coulda Been" captures the moment when someone chooses to leave behind what they know in order to chase the life they feel called to live.
Through her music, Sarah hopes to inspire others to follow their own path, even when it means stepping into the unknown. Today she is building an international presence through live performances and original music that connects deeply with audiences.
