Apt Wealth Partners expands employee-owned partnership, appoints Toby Simpson, Elizabeth Wise and Rochelle Dunham as equity partners
Announcement posted by Apt Wealth Partners 18 Mar 2026
Apt Wealth Partners has appointed Toby Simpson, Elizabeth Wise and Rochelle Dunham as equity partners, strengthening the firm's employee-ownership model and recognising their contribution to the firm and its clients.
As an employee-owned firm, Apt Wealth Partners believes the people who deliver advice should also share responsibility for the long-term success of the business. The appointments expand the partnership and reinforce the firm's commitment to building a sustainable employee-led ownership structure.
Andrew Dunbar, CEO at Apt Wealth Partners, said the appointments reflect the firm's commitment to employee ownership. "Our partnership structure is central to how we operate," he said. "By expanding ownership to people who are deeply invested in our clients and culture, we strengthen the long-term stability of the firm and ensure decisions are made with a multi-generational perspective."
The appointments form part of the firm's ongoing leadership and succession planning and take effect immediately. All three will continue in their existing client-facing roles while joining the equity partnership.
Toby Simpson brings more than 25 years' experience in international financial services, with deep expertise in UK expatriate finances. Originally from the UK, he has worked across Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. His experience navigating multiple regulatory systems and jurisdictions has made him a key adviser to clients with international lives and assets.
Dunbar said Simpson's admission to the partnership reflects both his technical expertise and the relationships he has built with clients. "Toby has developed a strong reputation for guiding clients through complex international scenarios," he said. "His elevation to the partnership recognises the role he plays in the firm and the trust he has built with the people he advises."
Simpson said becoming an equity partner formalises a long-term commitment to the firm. "It's a privilege to join the partnership and contribute to the next phase of the firm," he said. "My focus remains on helping clients navigate complex decisions and building strategies that stand up over time, wherever life takes them."
Elizabeth Wise's appointment reflects her long-standing career with the firm. She joined Apt Wealth Partners in 2015 as a Client Services Manager before moving into an advisory role and is now a Senior Financial Adviser. Dunbar said Wise's progression to equity partner reflects the firm's approach to developing leaders internally. "Elizabeth has grown with the firm and earned the trust of her clients and colleagues over many years," he said. "Her appointment strengthens the depth and continuity of our leadership."
Wise said the partnership is a natural progression. "I've been fortunate to build my career at Apt and work with clients over a long period of time," she said. "Becoming an equity partner brings a broader responsibility for the firm, and I'm looking forward to contributing to its continued development."
As Manager of Advice and Client Support, Rochelle Dunham brings more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has built a strong track record in fostering positive relationships and enhancing the client experience across the firm. Dunbar said Dunham's appointment recognises both her operational leadership and her impact on the firm's culture. "Rochelle plays a critical role in supporting our advice teams and ensuring our clients receive a consistently high standard of service," he said. "Her commitment to collaboration, communication and continuous improvement makes her a natural addition to the partnership."
Dunham said joining the equity partnership reflects her commitment to the firm and its people. "I'm passionate about creating an environment where our teams can learn, collaborate and deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients," she said. "I'm looking forward to contributing more broadly to the firm's future and the experience we provide every client."
The appointments take effect immediately. There are no changes to client teams or service arrangements.
