SYDNEY - Verizon Connect and vWork have joined forces to elevate the delivery experience for fleet businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The partnership integrates Verizon Connect's fleet management solutions with vWork's job scheduling and dispatch capabilities, providing a comprehensive platform for businesses to improve their delivery operations.
Verizon Connect's GPS tracking software offers real-time visibility into vehicles, driver behavior, and assets. By integrating with vWork, businesses gain enhanced route optimisation, job scheduling, dispatch management, and compliance features.
"We've partnered with vWork to address the pain points of fleet managers, such as meeting customer demands, competitive pressures, and inefficiencies in scheduling and dispatching," said Paul Miller, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Verizon Connect.
vWork CEO Roy Moody added, "Integrating Verizon Connect with vWork's job scheduling and dispatch solution will enable both businesses to deliver an exponentially greater service to Verizon Connect customers. Dispatchers will have a single, real-time view of field activities with real-time communication between dispatchers, drivers, and customers."
The partnership will enable Verizon Connect users to leverage vWork's template-driven scheduling to customise their delivery experience, backed by proof-of-delivery with time-stamped photos and integration with accounts for prompt invoicing.
Verizon Connect's 2025 Fleet Technology Trends Report Australia, which surveyed over 500 fleet managers and industry professionals, found that 75% of Australian fleets are now utilising GPS tracking technology. A significant 82% of respondents rated GPS tracking as "very" or "extremely" beneficial, with 67% reporting notable cost reductions.
