Weber Shandwick hires new APAC healthcare boss

Communications and marketing agency Weber Shandwick has chosen Naomi Mermod as its new APAC healthcare chief.
The new post is also an EVP-level job. She will now be in charge of the healthcare team across Weber Shandwick’s 12 offices in the region.
Mermod sports over 25 years of marketing communications experience, with 14 of them under Shire Hall in London, from an account director to managing director of Shire Hall’s later evolution as Ogilvy HealthWorld. She had recently exited the communications and public affairs post at Janssen APAC.
