Fergus Halliday’s Gaming-focused publication Multiplier has returned to Substack from Ghost, with the journo finding Ghost wasn’t exactly the right fit for Multiplier.  “The scale of Multiplier is an odd fit for Ghost. It's got several hundred subscribers, so it's too large for the free tier, but also too small in scale [for] the expense attached to the other tiers”, he told Influencing.  Halliday made the change to Ghost late last year. His experience on Ghost was mostly positive, and he was able to experiment with the project’s content.  Even while Multiplier was on Ghost, the Substack had continued to gain subscribers – at a faster rate than the Ghost version of the publication. The City Press Club of Faridabad in Haryana held the second round of its scooter distribution initiative on July 19, providing scooters to journalists as part of its welfare programme. So far, the club has distributed 38 scooters, including 26 e-scooters. Speaking to Influencing, senior journalist and Press Club President Bijender Bansal said: “The aim of this initiative is to support the welfare of journalists while promoting a better environment.” The event was attended by Haryana Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Food and Supplies Rajesh Nagar as chief guest. Police have arrested Sadath, another accused in the murder of ABN Andhra Jyothi reporter Jaganmohan Reddy in V. Kota Mandal of Andhra Pradesh's Chithoor district. He has been remanded to judicial custody. Earlier, two other alleged assailants, Tameem and Subhan, were arrested in the case. Police have also recently remanded the alleged masterminds, Srinivasulu and Doraswamy. According to police investigation, Sadath, the owner of Bharat Cinema Theater in V. Kota, was allegedly involved in planning the murder. Investigators said he had a long-standing land dispute with a local YSRCP leader and allegedly blamed Jaganmohan Reddy for supporting his rival. Police claim Doraswamy encouraged Sadath and arranged a meeting with the alleged killer, Tameem.
