An honest and forthright Grant Arnott has opened up about the pain and challenges of running Click Frenzy and Power Retail during its last few years, while it was mired in financial challenges that ultimately led to both companies being placed in receivership.  As Influencing first reported last month, Click Frenzy and Power Retail entered receivership in late March, with Click Frenzy having since been acquired by Gabbi and Hezi Leibovich. Tanzil Asif, founder of Bihar’s hyperlocal news platform Main Media, has been selected for the prestigious Knight‑Wallace Journalism Fellowship at the University of Michigan for 2026–2027. The demise of veteran journalist Pradip Chakraborty, has left entire Tripura journalism fraternity mourning. He was 74- year-old. A senior journalist and one of the strongest pillars of Dainik Sambad, he was widely respected for his grassroots reporting and commitment to public-interest journalism. Throughout his career, Chakraborty highlighted the struggles of people living in rural and remote areas of Tripura. He also mentored several young journalists in the state. What initially appeared to be a targeted attack on a journalist in Tamil Nadu later took a surprising turn after the victim revealed that the accused had allegedly mistaken him for someone else connected to earlier drug-related news reports. The Chennai Press Club has condemned the attack on Haja Maideen, a reporter with News J TV in Muthupettai, Thiruvarur district, while renewing concerns over the safety of journalists working on the ground.
