Potter succeeds Houlihan as Geelong Advertiser editor

Houlihan stated in a Tweet and LinkedIn message that he would be pursuing “new opportunities and the next adventure” after stepping down next month.
His exit marks the end of 15 years of service with NewsCorp Australia, beginning in 2002 at the Herald Sun, before joining the Geelong Advertiser in 2016.
NewsCorp Australia-Victorian managing director for editorial Peter Blunden said Potter is a seasoned choice, citing her 20 years’ community news experience, which includes stints with Geelong News and a number of Leader mastheads.
