Ogilvy Melbourne facilitates new road safety campaign

Called “Warning Spots,” the campaign uses geotargeted native ads aired over Spotify. These kick in when drivers approach certain accident hotspots in inner Melbourne, plus six major Victoria landmark areas that have also been tagged as major triggers for accidents. These include the Great Ocean Road and the Otway rainforests near the 12 Apostles.
Audio versions of the ads were also made to remind drivers of safety precautions without picking up gadgets that have an active Spotify app.
