Nine News Adelaide news directorship changes hands

The network stated that Agars stepped down as his current contract lapsed with no renewals. He was in the post for 15 years, while Pudney, his deputy, joined in 2014.
“Nine has played a huge and enjoyable role in my life and I’m fortunate to have worked with so many outstanding people. I’m proud to have been a part of Nine News, a great and trustworthy team,” said Agars.
Nine director of news and current affairs Darren Wick said Agars’ efforts to build Nine News Adelaide’s skill and reputation have made it a strong force, with an afternoon bulletin complementing a one-hour bulletin show and running mentoring programmes for budding journalists.
