NOVA introduces new domestic violence podcast

By Jonas Lopez in Media News on
NOVA Entertainment has joined forces with the federal government to run a new podcast for addressing domestic violence under its “Stop it at the Start” campaign, called “PROJECT ARI.” The show details the stories of an AI construct named ARI, as it travels the human world in the guise of a ten-year-old boy. The challenges of independent tech media

By Elliott Richardson in Media News on
As newsrooms have shrunk and the tech pages have begun to disappear, independent news outlets have continued to pop up all across the internet.   Here’s how Byteside and Women Love Tech (WLT) are establishing themselves in their own little corner of the web.   Women Love Tech is Australia’s most popular women-focussed tech platforms, comprising news stories, interviews, podcasts and product reviews.    Publisher Robyn Foyster says WLT’s growth has been down to constant innovation and a strong understanding of what its audience wants.   “Innovating is at the heart of everything we do. We just had a new redesign of the site and introduced a function this week that includes being able to listen to stories with an audio feature. This is either the first site or one of the first sites in Australia to do this. We also support women in STEM by featuring regular stories about women in tech and role models for the upcoming generation of women
