Campbell lands top Mamamia job

Leigh Campbell (photo credit: Huffington Post Australia)Leigh Campbell has joined women’s website Mamamia as the new executive editor.

Campbell comes over from Huffington Post Australia, where she served as lifestyle head until late 2017. She expressed joy over her entry through social media, with one Instagram post showing a snippet of her interview with Beautydirectory’s Georgie Haigh, the caption reading “New job who dis? (Goodbye stay at home cat mum, hello Executive Editor at @mamamiaaus) " followed by a cellphone icon.

“With her women’s lifestyle and digital background, Leigh Campbell’s expertise in creating Lifestyle content will bring a specialists perspective to these content areas in a fresh, modern way. We have big plans for 2018 and Leigh will be instrumental in making them happen,” said Mamamia founder Mia Freedman.
