Asianet News Digital partners with ONDC for Maha Kumbh coverage

Asianet News Digital has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to provide coverage of the Maha Kumbh and facilitate the delivery of Prasad and Gangajal through ONDC’s platform.
The partnership was announced on Asianet News Digital’s social media channels.
As part of this collaboration, AsianetNews.com will offer real-time updates on Maha Kumbh rituals and discussions with spiritual leaders, scholars and devotees. A live banner on AsianetNews.com will direct users to ONDC’s network for easy access to services related to the event.
Tapan Sharma, chief operating officer at Asianxt Digital, acknowledged Shireesh Joshi and Namrata Singh for their role in enabling the partnership.

TechAU’s Jason Cartwright has released his third album, titled Automation, which explores the topics of AI, automation and efficiency.
Cartwright told Influencing, the album was reflective of the current state of the technology industry.

Sikkim govt takes measures to strengthen state's media ecosystem

The Sikkim government, led by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang‑Golay, has taken steps to support journalists while maintaining respect for editorial independence. Since assuming office in 2019, the administration has emphasised creating conditions for media professionals to work with dignity, security, and recognition.
Key initiatives include the establishment of a permanent Press Club Bhawan, inaugurated in December 2020 after nearly two decades without a dedicated space and the provision of a 17‑seater vehicle to the Press Club in July 2023 to aid reporting across the state, Sikkim Express reported.
During the COVID‑19 pandemic, journalists were recognized as frontline workers and given early vaccination access. In 2024, more than 90 accredited journalists were also covered under a state‑supported health insurance scheme at CRH Manipal.
