The countdown is on to the most anticipated Agri-event of the year

Announcement posted by ACM Rural Events 19 Aug 2019

With less than 24 hours until the gates open on another sold-out AgQuip, organisers are expecting an equally powerful response from visitors.

“This year, we have 673 product and service categories and over 3,000 top Australian agricultural, general interest, lifestyle and leisure brands on display,” said Kate Nugent, Group Manager, Australian Community Media’s Rural Events division.

“Add to that, and we have established the AIM Centre (Agriculture, Innovation, and Marketing) and Rural Relief Precincts to answer the call for drought relief assistance, mental health and general health support as well as access to ‘smarter’ farming methods and technology.”

Spanning a huge 32-hectares, AgQuip has been the launchpad for many new Agri-products and services for the past 47 years, and 2019 is no exception.

When you think you’ve seen it all, there’s a whole new world of Case IH to see this year, with six new machines and pieces of equipment to be revealed.

Clipex will be releasing multiple new products and prototypes on-site, and AgCo Australia’s new Fendt 900 Gen 6 series will be making its Australian debut.

“It’s reassuring for our rural communities, that despite the current drought conditions, innovations in technology and farming techniques that have helped to drive the phenomenal success of Australian farming over the past decades continues and determination and interest in keeping up-to-date with new developments is strong,” reveals Ms. Nugent.

Also launching new products is Active Machinery who be launching a new model loader, and Coolaman who will be launching the first spreader chaser multi-purpose machine.

AusWest Seeds will be releasing Ecotain – a new forage plantain suited to all livestock.  It offers high-quality forage for growing animals or lactation and can be planted in straight stands as a companion herb or used to top up temperature struggling pastures after drought.

DOM is launching its new range of earth scrapers from Ashland Industries, and Airborne Australia is pleased to present to AgQuip the Italian range of Magni Gyrocopters and Airborne Microlights which are manufactured in Australia and perfectly designed for crop, fence line, and live-stock inspections.

“AgQuip is one of the most efficient and effective, face to face means of exchanging and introducing new information, innovation and ideas to our farmers and primary industry entrepreneurs who stand on the frontline of the exciting, but sometimes uncertain, new world,” said Ms. Nugent.

AgQuip will be held at its purpose-built 32-hectare site eight kilometres west of Gunnedah NSW from 20 to 22 August 2019.

Car parks are open from 7.30am daily, with public entry on to the static display grid from 9 am.  It’s free admission.

Entrance gates to AgQuip are open from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday 20 August, and Wednesday 21 August and on Thursday 22 August from 9 am to 4 pm – and the AIM Centre sessions start at 10 am daily.
