Pradeep Bhandari resigns from Zee News

Psephologist Pradeep Bhandari has announced his resignation from Zee News on Wednesday (May 8). He  had joined Zee News as Consulting Editor only in March 2024.     Announcing the same on X, Pradeep stated: “I have resigned from Zee News. I will not be hosting your favourite shows Taal Thok Ke at 5 PM, Aapka Sawal at 8 PM, & 24 Ki Sarkar at 10 pm, or present Exit Poll on Zee this election season.”    Prior to announcing his resignation, Pradeep had re-tweeted PM Modi’s tweet about Congress party allegedly opposing President Droupadi Murmu getting elected as President.     Speculation was rife on whether the psephologist re-tweeting the controversial tweet could have led to his departure from Zee News.
